Singh Sabha's Annual General meeting was held on February 21st, 2004 in the Multi-purpose Hall at 4000
Sturgeon Road, Winnipeg. There were approximately 42 members who attended the meeting.
Giani Bhagwan Singh Ji opened the meeting with ardas followed by the opening remarks by
Singh Sabha President, Sardar Jaswant Singh Sidhu. In his opening remarks,
Sardar Jaswant Singh Sidhu thanked:
the volunteers for their contribution for year 2003
the immigration committee
the sports and tournament committee
the building committee
After his opening remarks, he requested the approval of the Annual General meeting Agenda
as presented to the Quorom.
Secretary, Sardar Harjinder Singh Dhindsa read the minutes from last year's annual general meeting.
Sardar Harjinder Singh Dhindsa then provided the achievements of the committee in 2003.
Treasurer Sardar Surinder Pal Singh presented the audited financials for 2003.
A breakdown of revenues and expenses was presented to the Quorom.
The audited financials indicated that the financial health of Singh Sabha is in a good state.
The Executive committee and its sub-committees were encouraged to set priorities to undertake
projects for the upcoming year.
New business and outstanding issues were discussed for the coming year. Sardar Inderjit Singh Claire then presented
the names of the elected year 2004 Committee members.
The annual general meeting was adjourned as planned at 4:30pm.
